THE EAR EXPANDER
Designed and handmade by tattoo artist and piercer Kolo Narvaez, the Ear Expander offers lobe-stretchers yet another option in plugwear. The Ear Expander is meant to provide another alternative to body modifiers: people who look for alternatives, people who refuse restriction, people who seek to expand their knowledge of themselves and their bodies through the process of finding their own style and the process of modification itself.
With its biomechanical look in silicone guards, the Ear Expander expands to fit the natural stretch of the wearer's modification for ultimate comfort and unique style.
Worn closed or open in a wide range of potential shapes and sizes, the EEs exist now in 2-, 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-"points," or expandable segments, which can be adjusted independently of each other. Beginning at 3/4 inch and upward, the EEs are wearer-adjustable, meaning you have the control over its size, shape, and expandability, which ranges from the smallest of increments up to 1/2 inch, with the ability to readjust as well. Now, the freedom to choose is literally in your hands.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE EAR EXPANDER
The Ear Expander is not meant to replace traditional stretching or any of the options modifiers choose now. Rather, the EE is meant to provide another choice to people who are accustomed to and appreciate having the freedom to choose what they want to do and how they want to look. The EE is about an entirely new process and style, and should be handled accordingly. While the EE can adjust in extremely small measurements, it should be worn with a keen awareness of one's own body. As with any modification process or look, moving too fast or ignoring your body to achieve a goal is NOT the objective. Listen to your body and be sensible about what you do. If you experience any adverse reactions with the EE or any body jewelry, remove it, and take care of your mod and your body. Be smart, do your research, and pay attention to your process.
EVERY EAR EXPANDER IS CUSTOM WORK
Each Ear Expander is handmade by us, so every EE is unique, including the individual EEs in each pair. To further customize our work, intentional distinguishing features are added during the molding process. For clear pairs, an Ear Expander Token, or EET, is added that is visible in the pair. We do our best to accommodate requests if clients desire or have a specific EET with which they would like their EEs made. For colored and textured pairs, distinctive features are recorded by us so that no two pairs are alike and so that they can be duplicated as much as possible in the case of replacement or repair. Additionally, each pair is accompanied by an Authentification Card (AC) that contains the name and number of the pair, and is signed by Kolo and embossed with our seal. Every pair is registerable with the Ear Expander Registration (EER), which you fill out and return to us so that we can go to even further lengths to protect your purchase.
We are always willing to discuss further or specific custom work. If you have or want a specific EET, or have an idea about how you would like your EEs to look, we will do our best to accommodate your desires with the best price.
HOW TO USE THIS WEB SITE
Because every Ear Expander is different, when a particular pair is sold, it is gone. We do our best to update the web site as frequently as possible to keep new pairs coming. When you click on an item to purchase it, you are purchasing exactly what is in the photo, and there is no other pair of Ear Expanders exactly like it. Differences may be minute in some pairs, but those differences are recorded by us in our records that protect the custom quality of your investment.
